Treatments include based on the issue being treated:

• Tuina massage, Guasha, Cupping, Chinese herbal medicine if your particular complaint requires it. 
• All initial treatments at San Francisco Integrative Medicine are approximately 75-90 mins minutes long.  This gives us enough time to do a thorough health history, listen to your health concerns, create an effective treatment plan and provide an acupuncture treatment. ​
• Follow up treatments are approximately 60 minutes; 15 minutes to review improvements and changes from the previous treatment and 45 minutes for acupuncture and other modalities. 

We ask that patients come to the clinic 10-15 minutes before their initial treatment so that they have time to fill out all the necessary paper work.

We always do our best to verify insurance benefits before your initial appointment so that you know what your financial responsibilities are and there are no unexpected fees.

We ask that you wear or bring loose fitting clothing, shorts and/or camisoles, as these make evaluation, stretching, and treatment easier.  We always have sheets and towels available as well. 

​​24 hour Cancellation Policy 
We understand that life is complicated and unexpected things happen. Nonetheless, we require advanced notice for appointment cancellations, and charge a fee of $95 for late cancellations and no shows:

In addition, because another patient is likely to be scheduled after you, we may not be able to treat you if you arrive 10 or more minutes late for your appointment. Though we will do our best to work you in, if we cannot, this may result in a missed appointment fee.
