Parking
Parking is available at the Ellis - O'Farrell Garage which is behind Macy's. Valet parking is available at no extra charge. If self parking, proceed up the ramp until you reach the 7th or 8th floors as the lower levels are usually full. The Ellis sid entrance ground floor valet parking is recommended for easy in and out access. If parking in this garage, you may exit on the Ellis Street side. Directly across the street is an alternate entrance into the Flood Building at 71 Ellis Street. Parking rates are $2 for the first hour, $3 for the second, and $2 for each hour thereafter.

Alternately, parking can be found at the Fifth & Mission Street garage. Parking is easily found here and parking rates are the same as the Ellis-O'Farrell garage.

Driving Directions from Marin:
From the Golden Gate Bridge, take the 19th Ave. exit to Geary. Take a right onto Geary (going west) and then turn around at an intersection so that you are going east on Geary towards the downtown area. After crossing Van Ness, Geary changes to O'Farrell St. Continue on O'Farrell St. until you get to Powell - you may enter the Ellis-O'Farrell garage from O'Farrell or turn right on Powell and then left on Ellis to enter from the Ellis side.

Driving Directions from Bay Bridge:
Exit on Fifth St. and drive north toward Market St. Continue several blocks and cross over Market St. Take a right on Ellis St. The Ellis-O'Farrell garage is on the left side of the street after crossing Powell St.

Driving Directions from the South Bay:
From the south bay, exit 101 at Seventh St. and continue straight. Continue two blocks to Fifth St. Then, drive north toward Market St. Continue several blocks and cross over Market St. Take a right on Ellis St. The Ellis-O'Farrell garage is on the left side of the street after crossing Powell St. From 280, take the Sixth St. exit and follow the above directions.
