Jennifer Bezjak earned her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2017. She has training in integrative hospital settings such as the Acute Spinal Injury and Stroke Rehabilitation program at California Pacific Medical Center. Additionally she worked at Lifelong Ashby Health Center in Berkeley whose mission is to provide high quality healthcare to under served people, including the elderly and people with disabilities.
Jennifer uses a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, and guasha to effectively treat acute and chronic pain, to correct menstrual irregularities and improve women's health, and to remedy the imbalances found in digestive disorders. She has additional training in Master Tung and AcuNova style acupuncture and she will complete her post-graduate Doctorate degree in the summer of 2018.
She is licensed to practice Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and is also a licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist by California Acupuncture Board. In addition to being a co-founder of her 501(c)3 nonprofit Pain Free Clinic, and a specialist in the TCM treatment of degenerative eye diseases. She is humbled by the privilege to serve her patients and practice this quietly powerful medicine.
Prior to her work in Chinese Medicine, Jennifer worked in the trades for over 15 years as a welder, machinist, and carpenter. She still enjoys building things, riding her motorcycle, and long walks in the redwoods.
